Native Wildlife Walk
November 28, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
16.9116.91Join me on a meandering walk through native bushland and learn about the biodiversity and natural wonders of Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park.
This will be an easy walk through the scrub with many stops along the way to ask questions and talk about native plants and animals. Appropriate for all ages, including families with young children. A great way to learn about your local environment, discover new walking trails, meet like-minded people and re-connect with nature.
Please bring some drinking water, dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed shoes.
Hannah Jones runs environmental education business, Wattle + Wonder which was born from her love for the bush and desire to share it’s magic and beauty with her local community. Hannah has studied Conservation & Land Management and Environmental Sciences and also works for Trees For Life as a field officer, looking after patches of remnant bushland in the Onkaparinga region.
This bushwalk will be hosted on Kaurna Country, which always was and always will be Aboriginal Land. I pay respect to the Kaurna People and acknowledge their intricate cultural and spiritual relationship to Country as well as their past, present and ongoing connection to their land, waters and sky.
Wattle + Wonder donates 10% of profits to Firesticks Alliance, an Indigenous led network that aims to re-invigorate the use of cultural burning by facilitating cultural learning pathways to fire and land management.
