Descending from the High Road to Sellicks Beach

Rounding the Corner
Looking down during descent
Sky dark grey
Touching the sea and painting it to match
No horizon
Another day
Descent
Sky blazing bright, illuminating
Sea sending sparkles to the heights
Dazzling and inviting
Dogs wanting walks
Shells….once a home….
Now, laying in wait to be admired
Sand between toes woven with seaweed
Mind pictures to paint
Gentle breeze sending messages to still water
Little ripples in response
Sounds to settle the soul
Angry, gentle
Exciting, sleepy
The beach side
A place to contemplate
My contentment
