FREE EVENT (donations appreciated) and bookings are NOT required.
Learn about history and archaeology through displays of material culture, demonstrations and talks. Learn what it’s like to be an Archaeologist or Historian. See how we investigate and interpret the past.
Kids – there will be a chance to dig up your very own artefact from our kids “dig-box” guided by our volunteers and Archaeology students from Flinders University.
Experience our array of on-site demonstrations, exhibitions, guided walks and tours, as well as food (sausage sizzle anyone?) and beverages available for purchase. The Courthouse Museum, Slate Museum and Bassett Boys School will all be open (free admission).
