Saturday, 26th November 2022 10:00am – 1:00pm
173 Port Road, Aldinga, SA 5173
If you’ve ever driven by the Aldinga Arts and Eco Village on Port Road, and wondered about the market garden just next door, now’s your chance to find out all about it.
Village Greens are holding a Spring Farm Open Day – happening Saturday 26th November, 10am-1pm – at the farm in the Aldinga Arts Eco Village.
According to co-founder Nat Wiseman, “As part of Urban Agriculture Month, we’ll be holding a tour of our small-scale farm, where you can see how we grow your veggies from seed to harvest. Bring your own picnic lunch to eat after the tour, with tea, coffee and cakes available.”
Click here to book your tickets (kids 12 and under are free, but book them a ticket anyway so we know how many people to expect). We hope to see you there!
About Village Greens
Village Greens is a small-scale organic market garden founded in 2014 by a crew of young farmers in South Australia.
The one-acre farm is still lovingly cared for by two of our three original founders — Nat Wiseman and Claudia Peoples — and a happy team of farm workers.
The beautiful land under cuktivation is on Kaurna Country, at Ngaltingga / Aldinga (40kms south of Tarntanya / Adelaide) within the Aldinga Arts Ecovillage.
